SANDARA D. GRANNUM: As the case progress, we develop some discovery. We come back to the client. We tell them if we believe that some alternative route as opposed to litigation might be the way to proceed. And ultimately, before the litigation proceeds, we once again go back to the client and give them a follow up on what we think the value of the case is.
JOEL DAVIDSON: I think that having worked in house for many years, I bring to the table along with my colleagues the ability to understand that our clients' objectives are not to litigate cases to the death. We view ourselves as risk evaluators. And we try and work with in-house counsel to evaluate risk, reduce legal costs, and to help manage our clients to solve a problem that they need to get solved and get behind them.
